Harvard Project for Asian and International Relations

Purpose Statement

The Harvard Project for Asian and International Relations is collaboration between the students and faculty of Harvard University, offering a sustained academic program and a forum of exchange to facilitate discussion of the most important issues relevant to the Asia-Pacific region. HPAIR\x{ef}\x{bf}\x{bd}s largest event, its annual student conference in Asia, is a forum for open dialogue between top university students, government officials, business leaders, and distinguished academics. The HPAIR student conference is organized in cooperation with a leading Asian university and brings together over 400 university students from all continents. The aim of the conference is to create a discussion where student leaders exchange ideas on critical international issues and build lasting relationships that transcend national and cultural frontiers.
