Senior Class Committee

Purpose Statement

The Senior Class Committee (SCC) functions under the umbrella of the Harvard Alumni Association to bring together the senior class of Harvard College as each class prepares to enter alumni life. By offering leadership to the class, crafting a class identity, and building inclusive community, the SCC serves a vital function in the life of each class of the College. During senior year, the SCC is responsible for planning all class-specific social programing, culminating in Senior Week and Class Day. Additionally, the SCC is expected to work in tandem with the Senior Gift Campaign. SCC is composed of 8 marshals, 12 House reps, a secretary, treasurer, two media masters, and two Senior Gift co-chairs. After Commencement, SCC members will remain representatives of their class and take responsibility for keeping the class connected through regular communication, official Reunions, and other class-wide events and initiatives.
